From Chopping Boards To Bonding: Yuando Tech’s Team Cooks Up Closer Connections

How do you bring colleagues closer together when they already see each other every day? At Yuando Tech, the answer was simple: put everyone in the kitchen.

On the last Friday, colleagues temporarily set aside their keyboards and meetings, put on aprons, rolled up their sleeves, and transformed into "chefs for a day." They were divided into several groups, each tasked with preparing a complete meal including appetizers and main courses. From washing and chopping vegetables, seasoning and stir-frying, to plating and garnishing, every step was discussed and executed collaboratively by the group members.

The kitchen was filled with the sounds of spatulas, laughter, and conversation. Colleagues who usually only communicated via message or at their workstations became "meal buddies," helping each other out and tasting dishes together. Some employees who were usually quiet also showed their charm and enthusiasm outside of work while cooking or sharing their signature dishes.

After more than two hours of hard work, each group presented their delicious and visually appealing "team creations." Everyone sat around, enjoying the fruits of their labor while sharing anecdotes and insights from the cooking process. Many employees expressed that such activities allowed them to see a more authentic and multifaceted side of their colleagues and also brought them closer together across departments.

A meal, from raw to cooked, is just like a team going from initial adjustment to perfect harmony. In the future, Yuando Tech will continue to organize more diverse and heartwarming team-building activities, so that those who "fight together" can also become those who "eat and laugh together."
